Culture affects laws. Culture shapes the way a society views things, hence leading to the laws that fit with the culture. Culture is usually established before law, so law is established with the culture already in mind.
Laws affect culture because they control what culture can and can't do. For example, in communist countries their strict laws prevent their culture from branching out and changing. While in America, laws like freedom of speech and freedom of press allow for culture to diversify and change. -Billy Murray
Laws affects cultures. In some cultures there are many traditions and rituals that are pass down from generation to generation. As laws are created its makes it harder for some of these cultures to practice the traditions because the laws make them illegal
Law affects culture. This come from the fact that there are different countries and not just one united area as earth. Ever since the days where countries were forming, each had its own set of laws. People migrated to the areas of preference for laws and rules, and from that much time ago the culture shaped its way around those laws.
Culture creates laws, which then reinforce that culture. Laws are based on a society's cultural norms, and morph and change as the culture itself morphs and changes. These laws then serve as a reflection of the society's culture and values. - Thomas
I believe that laws affect the culture of a country. Laws shape the way people act and if those laws are good and meaningful, then people will tend to obey them and respect them. If the laws are outrageous and unethical, people will then lash our and shape a bad society.
I think culture affects laws because laws a passed when something is wrong or simply not right. A recent law was passed helping prevent thousands from human trafficking because that is not humane.
Culture affects laws. The laws in a society are created for the needs and values of that society. They will work for the best interests of the citizen's culture. -Victoria
Laws affect culture by not allowing certain practices of it and by controlling certain activities. In many cultures, there are things you should and shouldn't do and these are stablished before law, but they have to now adapt to these new rules..
culture affects laws. Many times laws vary from place to place just like culture does. People have different views in their culture so certain laws in different place will be looked at differently based on culture
If you have a peaceful culture laws will make sure the peace will be held. And culture can prevent discrimination in cultures like the U.S.A. and the Middle East.
By providing rules and regulations for what citizens can and cannot do, laws play a big part in defining the cultural expectations of a society. I think in theory, the laws created within a society reflect the needs and values of that society and will work for the best interests of the citizens, but laws can also strongly influence the society that created them. For example; the Brown v. Board of Education case of 1954 as proof that a law can change society, saying that without the school integration reforms during the Civil Rights Movement, schools would be very different today.
culture affects laws, laws are put in place to prohibit certain things but if the culture of the people changes they can change the laws to a certain extent.plus, the time when laws are put in place the way they turn own is directly affected by the culture.
Culture affects laws because the people will create laws based on their own society's needs rather than imposing laws that don't apply to their culture. Culture plays a big influence in how people view society and what laws are needed to improve their version of society.
Culture affects laws because new laws are added due to the culture. For example, when the hover board came out they made laws on wearing helmets if outside. As new ideas and things are added to culture more things need to be restricted.
Law affects culture. There are laws that affect the way people act and think. For example, some laws may encourage progressive thinking and others may promote a more negative view of citizens in the society.
Laws and cultures go hand in hand meaning they affect each other. In some areas, culture has a greater affect on laws. This is the opposite in areas with more restricting governments.
